What happens to your information.

UniStart is a distinct digital service and provides its own privacy information for activity within its website and app. Our services and this website are intended for adults and are not directed at children.

Information collected when you use the website
Our hosting and security providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser information, request time and security logs so the website can be delivered and protected. We do not currently use advertising pixels or non-essential analytics on this corporate website.
Information from another source
If a partner or another person refers you, we may receive contact details and relevant context from them. Where required, we will tell you the source and provide this notice when we first contact you.
Special category and criminal-offence information
Our enquiry forms are not intended for special category information (such as health, or racial or ethnic origin) or for information about immigration status or criminal matters. Please do not include this in a general enquiry. If you send it without being asked, we will not rely on it to make decisions at the enquiry stage and will delete it once it is no longer needed to respond to you safely.
If information of this kind later becomes genuinely necessary for a specific application, we will ask you for it separately, explain why it is needed, identify the additional condition we rely on under UK data protection law and, where the law requires, obtain your explicit consent before we use it.
Do not send health, immigration, criminal-record or other particularly sensitive information through a general enquiry form unless we have asked for it and explained why it is needed.
How and why we use it.
We use personal information only where we have a lawful basis under UK data protection law. The basis depends on the purpose and the relationship we have with you.
Understand your question, respond and arrange a conversation.
Legitimate interests and steps requested before a possible service.
Maintain records, coordinate next steps and communicate about the service.
Contract or steps taken at your request before a contract.
Assess a proposal, communicate with an organisation and manage a working relationship.
Legitimate interests and contract where applicable.
Protect the website, prevent misuse, keep necessary records and meet legal duties.
Legitimate interests and legal obligation.
Send promotional messages only where a valid permission or another lawful route applies.
Consent where required. You can withdraw it at any time.
We do not use enquiry information to make decisions based solely on automated processing. We do not promise that every request can proceed to an application or partnership.
Who receives it.
Access is limited to people and organisations that need the information for a stated purpose. Depending on how you contact us, this may include:
- AllCampus UK team members and authorised advisers handling your enquiry.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the website.
- Resend and relevant email providers, which deliver form notifications and confirmation emails.
- Telephone, WhatsApp or booking providers when you choose those channels. Their own privacy terms also apply.
- Education providers or other parties involved in an application, but only when there is an appropriate reason and you have asked us to proceed or we otherwise have a lawful basis.
- Professional advisers, regulators, courts or public authorities where disclosure is required or legally justified.
Each service provider acts as our processor under a written data processing agreement that limits them to using the information on our instructions. Some of these providers, including our website and email providers, may process information outside the UK. Where information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards in those agreements, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or on UK adequacy regulations where they apply.
We do not disclose enquiry data to unrelated organisations so they can build their own marketing lists.
Retention and security.
How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, guidance, partnership or legal purpose for which it was collected. We consider whether a conversation is active, whether support is continuing, whether records are needed to deal with a complaint or legal claim, and whether a legal or regulatory retention duty applies. Information that is no longer required is deleted or securely disposed of.
As a general guide, where an enquiry does not lead to any further contact or service, we aim to delete it within about twelve months. Where we go on to provide guidance or discuss a partnership, we keep relevant records for the duration of that relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards. Where records are needed for a legal claim or to meet a legal or regulatory duty, we may keep them for longer, typically up to six years, in line with the relevant limitation period.
How we protect it
We use proportionate organisational and technical safeguards, including controlled access, reputable service providers and secure website delivery. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use an appropriate channel and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
Your rights.
Depending on the circumstances and our lawful basis, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of your personal information;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to erase information;
- ask us to restrict how information is used;
- receive certain information in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing; and
- withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.
These rights are not absolute in every situation. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
You can object at any time to direct marketing. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Email [email protected] and tell us what you want us to stop or review.
Cookies and other services.
This website
At the date of this notice, allcampus.uk does not use non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting and security provider may set strictly necessary cookies to deliver the site and protect it from abuse; these do not require consent. If we introduce non-essential cookies later, we will update this notice and request consent where required before they are set.
Links and UniStart
This website links to UniStart, WhatsApp, booking services, app stores and other external websites. Those services control their own processing and provide separate privacy information. AllCampus UK created UniStart, but information is not automatically combined merely because you follow a link. We will explain any sharing that is needed for a connected student journey.
Contact and complaints.
To exercise a right, ask a privacy question or raise a concern, contact us first. We will consider the request and explain our response.
You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we use your information. We would appreciate the opportunity to address the concern first.
We may update this notice when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows the latest published version.
This notice is structured using the ICO's guidance on the right to be informed and privacy information. Read the official ICO guidance.
